Masjid al Nabawi is the second holiest mosque in Islam, the second largest mosque in the world after the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. It is resting place of the Prophet Muhammad. It was built by the Prophet himself in 622 AD.

Jannatul Baqi, also known as Garden of Heaven, is the oldest and the first Islamic cemetery In Madinah. Here are some of the scholars and Prophet Muhammad’s family members and companions who are buried here.

Masjid Quba (Arabic: مسجد قباء) is where the Prophet (ﷺ), accompanied by Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه), first stayed in Madinah after emigrating from Makkah. They arrived on Monday 12th Rab’i al-Awwal, fourteen years after Prophethood and this date marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar (Hijra), (16th July 622 CE). A mosque was established here by the Prophet (ﷺ), the first to be built in Islam.

This is Masjid al-Qiblatain (Arabic: مسجد القبلتين), translated as the “Mosque of the Two Qiblas”. In Rajjab 2 AH, the revelation of the Quranic verse came to change the direction of the Qibla from Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem to the Ka’bah in Makkah. Masjid al-Qiblatain is historically important to Muslims as it is the location where the first congregational salah was prayed following the change.

The Seven Mosques or Sab’u Masajid is a complex of six small historic and often visited mosques in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. The complex consists of six mosques in spite of the name “Sab’ah” means “seven”, because it included the Masjid al-Qiblatayn originally.
Location:These mosques are located in south of Mount Sala’ which was the scene of the Battle of the Trench.

Wadi Al-Baida, also called Wadi Al-Jinn, is a mysterious valley where cars move without drivers touching them. The valley is situated some 30 km northwest of Madinah. It draws the attention of thousands of locals and visitors from around the Kingdom and abroad.
Many city dwellers travel to this natural park and erect tents for a few days, especially during the weekend.

Al Jum’ah Mosque (Arabic: مسجد الجمعة), also known as Bani Salim Mosque, Al-Wadi Mosque, Al-Ghubaib Mosque, or ‘Atikah Mosque, is a mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is said by the locals to be where the Islamic prophet Muhammad and his companions did a Jumu’ah prayer for the first time during their route of hijrah (migration) from Mecca to Medina.

The above picture shows the land on which the Prophet (ﷺ) planted three hundred date palms to free Salman Farsi (رضي الله عنه) from slavery. It is located close to Masjid Quba.There is also the well that has been affiliated with him as well.A large number of pilgrims visit the exhibition during Umrah and Hajj seasons.

The well of Rumah (بئر رومة), also known as the Well of Uthman ibn Affan (بئر عثمان بن عفان), is a historic water well in the city of Medina. Today, part of the “Well of Uthman’s Waqf”, it is located some 6 kilometers north-west of Masjid an-Nabawi, and north of Masjid al-Qiblatain. Historically is has been known as the “Kalib Mazni” (literally meaning “the old well of Mazni”), and was said to be one of the best wells of Mazni. The Bir Rumah or the Bir Uthman, is a large water-well, which is most likely fed by spring water. The “Well of Uthman” was located in the lower part of Wadi al-Aqiq, where the flood waters collected.

The battle was fought on March 19, 625 CE (3 Shawwal 3 AH in the Islamic calendar) at the valley located in front of Mount Uhud, in what is now northwestern Arabia.It occurred between a force from the Muslim community of Medina led by the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and a force led by Abu Sufyan ibn Harb from Mecca, the town from which many of the Muslims had previously emigrated. The Battle of ‘Uḥud was the second military encounter between the Meccans and the Muslims, preceded by the Battle of Badr in 624 CE, where a small Muslim army had defeated the much larger Meccan army.
